web work: paint scentsations
This site is both informational and contains an e-commerce system to sell the client's product. The target audience is both the single viewer at home and management for apartment living. It needed to fit both.
design
The existing site was one that was created by a co worker. The client felt it was time to 'liven' up the design to better fit the product they would focus on. Given the imagery by the client I created the design for this site. Moving totally away from the dark palette so to achieve the desired effects.
The logo was provided by the client before the design was started.

This website is very informational but also needed to highlight the product and allow people to order. I worked with Zend framework to add in content for the original design, along with installing and styling the open source shopping cart system called Zen Cart. I helped the client load in their initial products and trained him on how he could manage the cart area of the site himself in the future.
The credit card processor Authorize.net was used for payment and I helped the client get his accounts setup and hooked into Zen Cart.
On the second version I did the design and updated the styling's of the cart area and remaining pages of the site.
