web work: halunen law

This site is very content heavy and the client needed the ability to update this content themselves. They wanted to remain professional looking but stay away from the traditional 'Lawyer Website'.
design
Once the old site was up on our servers I created the design for this site, going off of the clients feedback during meetings and phone conversations. I was given liberties with the over all look. Just needing to keep in mind that they did 'not' want to be the lawyer site in red white and blue, or have the scales of justice anywhere on their site. They wanted to look professional as they are well established.
The logo was given to us by the client before the concept was started.
Imagery was given to me by the client and placed where appropriate.
site info
This site started off with a battle to obtain domain rights. The old host was keeping the domain hostage while planning to turn off the site. I worked with the client to first of all save any web files, content, images, etc even though there was no ftp access. I then found steps the client could take in order to prove they were the true owners of the domain.
The blogging software WordPress was installed and styled in order to give the client the ability manage content themselves. There were many pages of content to pull over form the old site and more updated versions were sent over form the client.
I took from concept to completion myself.
